José is a geoscientist with over 40 years of experience in geophysics and geology, focusing on onshore and offshore exploration and field development. He has held various positions, from geophysicist to exploration manager, at companies such as YPF, Schlumberger, Western Atlas, Petrolera San Jorge, and Chevron. For over a decade, he has served as a consultant, collaborating with different companies overseas. His work spans a wide variety of basins and geological settings, managing portfolios, field surveillance plans, strategy delineation, and business plans, locating new exploration wells, and asset evaluations.
He holds a Mines Engineering degree from the University of San Juan, Argentina, and a Master’s degree in Geophysical Interpretation from ISEP – Universidad de Cuyo.
